Peer-Led Recovery Since Y2K
On Our Own of Cecil County, Inc. (OOOC) is a peer-operated wellness and recovery center dedicated to supporting individuals living with mental health and substance use challenges in Cecil County and the surrounding region. For over 25 years, we have provided a safe, welcoming space where people can find hope, connection, and practical support on their journey to wellness.
Rooted in the values of dignity, respect, and empowerment, our organization is led by individuals with lived experience who understand the unique challenges of recovery. We offer a range of free services—including peer support groups, crisis intervention, outreach, transportation assistance (related to mental health care), co-pay support, and help navigating community resources and applications. Our programs are designed to encourage self-help, foster independence, and connect people with the tools they need to thrive.
OOOC is proud to be an active affiliate of On Our Own of Maryland and to collaborate with partners like MRDC Head Start and the Cecil County Health Department. Through these partnerships, we continue to expand our reach and impact, ensuring that every person in our community has access to compassionate, peer-driven support.
Whether you are seeking help for yourself or a loved one, or looking to connect with others on a similar path, you are welcome here. Together, we are changing attitudes, promoting recovery, and building a stronger, healthier Cecil County.
